Included in this lot is a Lehn & Fink's Pure Ground Mustard canister. Lehn & Fink was founded in New York City in 1874. They were best known for the disinfectant 'Lysol', which they introduced in 1890. The container shows a yellow and red label and trademark with the signature "L7F" pyramid trademark. On both sides of the canister are some recipes that can be made with the ground mustard. On the back of the canister, there is a list of "Lehn & Fink's Highest Purity Spices" used, including "White pepper, black pepper, red pepper, mustard, ginger, cinnamon, allspice, cloves, mace, nutmegs, etc." The canister also includes the original scoop inside. This piece is in good condition, with some writing on the front label and some stains along the label. This canister measures 9" x 7" x 5 1/4".
