The lot features a phenominal 1920's Whirling Log tooled and silver spot headstall, bridle and reins paired with one of Les Vogt's earliest rattlesnake silver inlaid and mounted horse bit dating to the mid-1900's.. Les Vogt is a living legend with unsurpassed credit to the history of spur and bit makers. The bit features silver mounting to the slobber bar and rattlesnake shanks; the low port curb features a cricket rocker and floral decoration to the top of the bits shank. The bridle headstall features whirling log conchos shown along the crown piece before the ends of the cheek pieces; the cheek pieces are stamped with whirling log decorations, as well. The bit features an early Les Vogt hallmark with individually stamped letters. Les Vogt's offers you what has become a four-decade tradition of handcrafted bits and spurs. The condition of this bridle is good, with patina adorning the leather of the headstall consistent with the age of the bridle. This is a full size bridle with bit measurements of 10" x 5 1/2" x 2".
