Offered for sale is a Original Lewis & Clark County Jail Door. The door features a heavy cast iron construction, with seven bars, both hinges, and locking mechanism. The first Lewis & Clark County Jail was built in 1891 and was located at 15 North Ewing Street, which is now "The Myrna Loy Center" for the performing and media arts. This jail was in use until 1985 when the current Law Enforcement Center was built and located at 221 Breckenridge Street. The piece is in good condition, for its age showing rust and stiff hinges. no key present. The piece measures 28 3/4" W x 75" H x 2" Thick
