The book chronicles the life and adventures of Christopher "Kit" Carson as one of the Old West's most famous hunter, guide and scout. The book has a wonderfully decorated cover and spine with gilt accents and numerous illustrations inside. The piece shows very good overall condition; it does have a period gift inscription on the flyleaf. It measures 5.25" x 7.5".
