For your consideration is is an Original Owner Topps Wacky Sticker Trading Cards, circa 1973-1975, 224 cards, plus a package of original Mello Smello Scratch & Smell Stickers Sample Pack. Included are Topps Wacky series #1 (11), #2 (33- complete), #3 (31- complete), #4 (27), #5 (19), #6 (19), #7 (21), #8 (27), #9 (12), #10 (14), #12 (7), #14 (1). From 1973 to 1976, Topps released 16 series of Wacky Packages known as the Original Series. These peel-off adhesive-backed stickers became a huge seller for Topps. There were about 30 stickers in each series issued. The stickers came in 3 different varieties: Whiteback, Tanback, and Ludlow. The Ludlows have a drawing of a camel on the back (either in red or black). The 1st and 2nd series stickers are generally harder to find then the 3rd thru 13th series, but the 14th thru 16th series stickers are even more difficult to find since they were sold in smaller quantities. This lot has the hard to find Black Ludlow-backed "Crust" from series #1, White-backed "Run Tony Shells" from series #2, "Windhex" and "Mess Clairoil" from series # 4, and "Pupsi Cola" from series #10. Series 8 came out during the peak of wacky popularity and includes "Kentucky Fried Fingers", a favourite among wacky fans. Each card is in its own protective clear plastic sleeve. Mello Smello Sample Pack is in its original sealed clear plastic pouch. Most clear plastic sleeves measures 3.5"W x 4"L, smaller sleeves measure 2.5"W x 3.75"L. Combined weight 2lb, 10oz.
