Included in this lot is an original Lily Tolpo, Phoenix Land oil painting from 1970. Lily Tolpo (1917-2015) was the wife of artist Carl Tolpo. She was known as an American painter, sculptor, and designer who worked from Illinois studios for over six decades. This 1970s Phoenix desert landscape, by Lily Tolpo, portrays the desert flora of Suguaro and Cholla cacti, Mesquite trees, and a view of the Camelback Mountains in the distance. This piece measures 16" by 12".
