"The Challenge" Elk sculpture depicts a large bull elk bugling a challenge for all to hear. From artist Dick Idol, this sculpture is serialized and numbered. Authentic outdoorsman and adventurer, Dick Idol (co-founder of North American Whitetail magazine) knows the outdoors, and his art evokes the wonder like no one else's. He has translated his love of the outdoors into beautiful pieces of art that inspire and amaze. The base has a rustic nameplate with the name of the sculpture. The amazing detail of this sculpture can be seen as the elk’s eyes lock with yours in a challenge. The bottom of the statue has the artist’s name and serial number in gold embossed lettering. This is Limited Edition Number A-173. The sculpture was cast from Dick Idol’s original sculpture and made from resin with a bronze color finish. It measures approximately 20" X 19" X 9". The sculpture boasts absolutely amazing lifelike attention to detail. The antlers have had some damage and have been repaired; there are also some minor chips to the finish. Please see photos for accurate assessment of condition.
