For your consideration in this lot we have a set of three framed paintings of water birds with their corresponding stamp originating from the early 1980's. Each framed piece shows a U.S. stamp that is part of one of the water or game bird collections along with a signed print of the original artwork on the stamp. The first of the pieces shows two mallard ducks swimming among cattails. The piece was painted by Larry Hayden for the first Texas duck stamp, 1981. This limited print is numbered 9867/16500, and is signed in the bottom by the artist and comes with the print sleeve showing information about the artist and print. The second piece shows two wood ducks standing on a log next to water in a woodland scene. The piece was originally painting by Lee LeBlanc for the South Carolina migratory waterfowl hunting and conservation stamp, SC1981. This limited print is signed by the artist on the print, and stamp, and is numbered 3888/4500. The third piece is a limited print of an original painting by Michael Sieve and shows three Canadian geese flying over a marshy field with another flock in the background. This is an Oregon First of State duck print, 1984 that is signed by the artist and numbered 4687/11,825. This piece includes the original purchasing reciepts and communications indicating it was purchased for $155 in 1984 from Marsh & Field Wildlife Galleries. All three of the pieces in this collection show the stamp that the print represents, and each is professionally framed and show in great condition overall. Each frame measures approximately 16.5" x 19.5" and the visible artwork measures 7.5"x10"
