The lot features a wonderful collection of historic American West and Native American objects including Battle of the Little Bighorn Lakota Sioux or Cheyenne metal arrowhead point, historic paleo and antique pieces such as the paleo projectile points, and the beads all from Mountrail and Morton counties in North Dakota. The metal arrowhead projectile point was noted by the previous collector as being recovered from private property at the historic Battle of the Little Bighorn / Custer’s Last Stand area. The paleo projectile points were all collected in Mountrail and Morton counties in North Dakota; known for significant Indian history including Fort Berthold Reservation, Fort Laramie Treaty and the Mandan, Hidatsa, and Arikara tribes as well as Paleo and Archaic history. There are also includes seven stands of early beads that were all collected from the Mountrail and Morton counties in North Dakota. There is also a carved stone effigy winged bird at the center of the display. The outside edges show to large Turkey Feathers and the entire piece is beautifully professionally framed. Frame measures overall 20.75-inches by 16 5/8-inches by 2-inches. The largest point is about 3 5/8-inches long. TURKEY FEATHERS
