For sale in this lot we have a Print of "Lone Wolf" by Alfred Wierusz Kowalski. Kowalski was a Polish painter born in 1849 and was one of the more popular painters in Poland. He was know for his historical and generic paintings. The print shows a solitary wolf overlooking a snow covered village under a night sky. The print is framed in a ornate wood frame showing floral patterns along its length. The piece is in good condition overall with some slight damage to the frame and the back cover is damaged. It measures 22 1/4" wide by 18" tall.
