Featured in this lot is large bronze sculpture titled, "Spooked" and dated 2008 by American artist Lorenzo E. Ghiglieri (1931-2020), this is a unique one of a kind Artist Proof example. The sculpture features a wonderfully and professionally crafted bronze construction that shows a tall Grizzly bear standing on its hind feet gripping a broken tree by the trunk. Lorenzo Ghiglieri (November 25, 1931 – January 25, 2020) was an American painter and sculptor. The Portland, Oregon, newspaper Willamette Week referred to Ghiglieri as "one of the Northwest's best-recognized and most prolific bronze sculptors." Ghiglieri's sculptures are displayed in a wide variety of locations around the world. His 27-foot (8.2 m)-high sculpture of an eagle is located at the entrance of the Seven Feathers Casino near Canyonville, Oregon. Ghiglieri also has works on permanent display at the White House, the Vatican, and Middlebury College. The condition of this Bronze sculpture is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows a good overall condition. The measurements of this bronze sculpture is 27 1/2" x 13" x 23" and it weighs 81 pounds.
