Featured in this lot is this pair of Los Altos Striped Stingray leather western boots. This pair of boots show black western design to the side walling of the boots with the bulk of the top of the foot portion of the boots is decorated with striped stingray leather with a sandy texture and stripes down the center of the and along the outside walling of the boot. Stingray leather, also referred to as shagreen, has been used over the years for making leather goods, covering furniture, and many other applications. Due to the soft-tanning of our skins they are pliable, easy to cut and can be worked like leather. The condition of this pair of boots is good with no obvious signs of damage expect some wear to the soles of the boots from use but otherwise in good overall condition. The overall measurements of these boots are 12" x 10" x 3" and the show size is US 5 and Mexico 22.
