Featured in this lot is this Lost Lake deep notch point aged from the Early Archaic period and from 9,500 - 8,500 B.P. This is a medium triangular deep corner notch point with a elliptical cross section and a incurvate blade with a serrated edge and the shoulders are slightly barbed and slightly rounded with deep notches and a concave base. The point was knapped from a light grey flint material. The condition of this point is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this point are 2 1/4" x 1 1/4" x 1/4". The point was taken from Tennessee.
