This is an outstanding large traditional squash blossom necklace and earring set from master silversmith, Navajo Louis Yazzie which exhibits sterling silver construction and beautiful branch coral and turquoise settings. The necklace shows a sterling silver naja squash blossom pendant with three blossom ends set with two polished cabochons of Turquoise from the Blue Gem mine and one ox blood coral branch and is signed on the back, "LY Sterling". The necklace itself shows a double strand of sterling silver concho pearls / navajo pearls with a total of 14 blossom pendants with a typical floral blossom opening set each with alternating polished cabochons Blue Gem Turquoise and Ox Blood Coral branch. The necklace is paired with a set of blossom earrings which show the matching flower blossom design set each with a polished Ox Blood Branch Coral as well and each signed "LY Sterling". The set shows no damage and good condition with a nice bright sterling silver that displays beautifully. Squash Blossom measures 24"L with the naja pendant being 3.75" by 2.75". The earrings each dangle 1.75"L. Total weight of 139.8 grams. Had a retail price of over $5,480.
