Lynn L. Gertenbach (1948-2023) was a California impressionist landscape painter of places near her home by Malibu State Park, near Los Angeles. She was one of the pioneers in the resurgence of plein air painting that has taken place over the past thirty years. A signature member of The California Art Club, Plein-Air Painters of America, and Oil Painters of America, her paintings and portraits are in the collections of celebrities, art museums, and enthusiastic collectors. Her work has been in several group exhibitions in the Laguna Museum of Art, the Carnegie Museum, The Fredrick Wiesman Museum, Pepperdine University the Pacific Asia Museum and the Isetan Museum of Art, Tokyo.
