For your consideration is this M1891 Remington flat tip socket bayonet. The bayonet shows standard socket bayonet design with a cross blade and a unique flat tip on it. The bayonet is stamped '48327' and shows a button connector. In 1915, Russia contracted with Remington and with the New England Westinghouse Co. to produce the 7.62 mm. M1891 Mosin-Nagant rifle and the accompanying bayonets. The condition of this bayonet is fair and in good working condition, with some oxidation adorning the blade. The measurements of this bayonet are 19 1/2" x 1 1/2" x 3/4".
