Featured in this lot is this olla pot from Santa Clara artist Mable Dodges Luhan circa 1910 to 1920's. The olla pot features a very large construction with a two tone black on black decoration and shows a sleek black on the top layer. The condition of this olla pot is good with no obvious signs of damage it shows some natural marking to the outside of the glaze of the bowl but otherwise is in good overall condition. This is one of the largest olla pottery vessel available to the open market. The measurements of this olla pot is 11" x 10 1/2" x 10 1/2". Provenance: From the renowned Sundog Fine Art Bozeman, Montana collection and collected by Bruce VanLandingham. Bruce VanLandingham was a pillar in the American Indian collecting community and a respected expert.
