Offered in this lot we have a Macey quarter sawn oak four drawer filing cabinet originating from the early 20th century. The cabinet is constructed out of beautiful highly figured quarter sawn oak and shows original brass hardware. It is designed to function as a index filing cabinet or other smaller files. The piece shows four pull out drawers each filled with picture post cards. The top of the piece is marked "Macey" towards the front. The collection consists of hundreds of post cards. The filing cabinet shows good condition overall with some light wear across the piece. The cabinet measures 15 1/2" wide by 11" tall by 15" deep.
