Featured in this lot is this Madison Blade Mississippian point aged from the Late Woodland to Mississippian period and from 1,100 - 300 B.P. The point shows a thin small triangular construction with a flattened cross section and shows a straight serrated blade. The point was knapped from a unusual stark reddish brown flint material. The condition of this point is good with no obvious signs of damage and in good overall condition. The measurements of this point are 2 7/8" x 7/8" x 1/4". This point was taken in Missouri.
