For your consideration are Original Madison County, Montana Irene Lode Mine Blueprints, circa 1927. Madison County, Montana has a history of mining that includes gold, silver, and lead. Virginia City, Nevada City, and Alder Gulch are legendary in the history of Mining in Montana, Alder Gulch being the site of the largest placer gold strike in world history. One of these blueprints is titled, "Underground Workings on Irene Lode, Madison County, Mont. March5, 1927, 10 Proctor E. M." The second blueprint is a schematic of a multi-level ore crusher indicating the location of the crusher and the adjacent 35 HP motor. Lever arms and fulcrum pivots are also noted on the blueprint. These is a fantastic piece of Montana mining history. The blueprints are in good condition, mounted on separate foam boards for display. Ore crusher blueprint measures 18.5"W x 27"L, foam board is 18.75"W x 27.5"L. Underground workings blueprint is 21.5"W x 27"L, board is 22"W x 27.25"L.
