The painting features a wonderfully and professionally crafted lithograph construction that features both Brown & Rainbow trout with the map of the river naming the riffle and pools, a portion of a fly fishing rig depicted at the top presumably laying on shoreline river rocks. The artist signature can be seen in the bottom right hand corner of the artwork with a numbering of 74/75 and shows six various tied flies scattered around the two trout. The world acclaimed and legendary Madison River in Southwest Montana is one of Montana's famous premier blue ribbon fly fishing rivers and the subject of numerous books, works of art and featured in movies. The Madison flows through one of the most scenic valleys in Montana and is flanked by the towering Madison, Gravelly and Tobacco Root mountain ranges. The impressive scenery, high trout counts, potential for trophy fish and proximity to Yellowstone make this a must fish river for every serious fly fisherman. David Ruimveld has been the featured artist of the Ruffed Grouse Society and has worked with many other conservation programs to raise funds for the cause.
