This is an original painting on canvas in the style and manner of Marc Chagall. The piece is not signed. The painting exhibits the classic Marc Chagall abstract design with a young couple dancing in the midnight air, beneath a crescent moon with an Orthodox Church / village in the background. The image shows a fish playing a violin, bouquet of flowers. This appears to be an early painting in an original antique frame. The piece is incredibly similar in technique, style and manner as well as being in an antique gilt wood frame as the “Le Bouquet d’Amour by Marc Chagall, “Les Maries dans le Ciel” by Marc Chagall, amongst others. The latter showing a wedding of two lovers flying through the sky with a bouquet of flowers, a man playing the violin all in the midnight sky with a crescent moon above and Orthodox church / village below (an image of this painting is included for reference). Marc Chagall (Russian/French, 1887-1985). While the piece is definitely in the style of Marc Chagall, it is not signed and while it could be by Marc, there is no reason or documentation to support this. Artist Unknown. The frame measures 27.75" x 19.75" and the canvas measures 22" by 14.25".
