Featured in this lot is this original watercolor painting done by renowned artist and teacher Mark Hufford circa late 1900s to early 2000s. Mark Hufford is originally from Perrysburg, Ohio, and now lives in Buda, Texas. He received his Graphic Arts degree from the Art Institute in 2012. Mark Hufford is an artist, instructor, and graphic designer whose interest in the arts began at the age of four, when he first put pencil to paper. While Mark is an accomplished artist in a variety of mediums, his early passion of graphite has not only persisted but grown. After years of endless study into the complex subtleties of graphite drawing, as well as experimentation and creation of numerous techniques, he longed to share what he had learned with others. The painting shows a sailing boat docked near the shore as the sun sets below the horizon line. The painting shows vivid colors of blue, yellow and green and amazing attention to detail which gives the painting a sharp and clean look. The painting is signed in the bottom right hand corner in gray paint reading,"Mark Hufford". The painting is set in a light wood frame and has been matted three times with white, gray and dark gray matting paper. The artwork and frame show good condition overall with little to no wear present and no signs of damage. The visible art measures 9 5/8" L x 4 1/8" W, while the entire piece measures 16" L x 9" W x 1 1/8" D. It weighs 2 pounds.
