Available in this lot is a Marlin Model 1893 Lever-Action rifle, chambered in .32-40 caliber. The rifle utilizes a 26" round barrel, crescent steel butt-plate, rear buckhorn rear sight, paired with a dovetailed front sight, walnut fixtures, and a patina blue finish. The rifle reads "Marlin Fire-Arms CO. New Haven. CT, U.S.A. - Patented, OCT. 11. 1887. APRIL 2. 1889. AUGUST 1. 1893", on the top of the barrel, "For Black Powder" on the left side of the barrel, "Marlin Safety" on the top of the receiver, and showing the serial number on the lower tang. Overall, the rifle shows good condition, with a nice patina to the finish, and nice walnut fixtures with some handling marks. The action is smooth, and strong rifling. Serial Number: 367683.
