For your consideration is a Marlin Model 39 .22 caliber Lever Action Rifle. This wonderful rifle utilizes a 24" blue'd octagonal barrel with dovetailed blade front sight adjustable rear sight and flip up tang sight. The case hardening on the receiver has faded over the years. The barrel is marked "The Marlin Firearms Corporation - New Haven Conn. U.S.A. Patented" on the top and " 22 S - L & L. R" on the left. The fore grip is checkered with a traditional diamond pattern and the pistol grip on the stock showcases a lovely detailed checkering. The action is smooth and the bore is in good condition with sharp rifling. The tang on this Marlin has the star hallmark indicating this firearm was produced with the highest quality materials and skill. The stock also features the white bullseye that Marlin began installing in their firearms in the early 1920’s. This rifle was manufactured between 1958 & 1959. Serial Number: S59110. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
