For your bidding pleasure is a Marlin Model 70P take down semi automatic rifle. The rifle is notable for its portability; it is less than 21 inches in length when disassembled and weighs 3.25 pounds. Disassembly requires loosening a barrel retention nut by hand or with a supplied tool. It is designed as a hiker and camper utility rifle. This rifle utilizes a 16 1/4" round blue'd barrel. The barrel is marked "The Marlin Firearms Co. North Haven, CT. U.S.A. - Model 70P Micro-Groove Barrel .22 LR Only." on the left. The barrel has a fixed blade front sight and adjustable rear sight. The straight grain walnut stock is in wonderful condition The action functions as intended. This rifle comes with a red Marlin carrying case. Serial Number: 11259032. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic Long Gun, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
