Included in this lot is a Mauser Modelo Argentino 1891 bolt action rifle. This rifle utilizes a 29 1/4" round blue'd barrel with fixed front sight and adjustable ladder rear sight. The receiver is blue'd and marked "Mauser Modelo Argentino 1891 - Deutsche Waffen - Und Munitionsfabriken - Berlin." There is loss to the finish on the top of the receiver where the Argentine crest would have been. All visible serial numbers are matching. The rifle utilizes a straight grain walnut stock in good condition with signs of wear from use and age. The stock, receiver and barrel all show acceptance marks. The Mauser functions as intended with no noticeable play. The bore is bright and rifling is crisp. Serial Number: S0977. This firearm qualifies as a Curio & Relic Long Gun, and requires FFL Transfer or NICS Background Check.
