For your consideration is this advertisement calendar from Butte, Montana advertising McKee Printing Company circa 1951. Milton A. McKee was a printing genius who invented the Multicolor Rotary Press and the McKee Process, which helped industrialize four-color printing. The McKee Process reduced the time required to prepare a press with electrotype plates. His printing studio was located in Butte, Montana. This advertisement calendar shows all twelve months on the front with a color photo taken by Ernst Peterson. The piece reads, "Printers, Lithographers, Stationers / McKee Printing Company / 138 W. Granite St. Butte, Montana / Phone 2-2334". The piece shows good condition overall with slight wear present from its age and use over the years but no signs of major damage is noted. It measures 25 1/2" L x 20" W.
