McKee was a printing genius who invented the Multicolor Rotary Press and the McKee Process, which helped industrialize four-color printing. The McKee Process reduced the time required to prepare a press with electrotype plates. His printing studio was located in Butte, Montana. This advertisement calendar shows all twelve months on the front with a color photo taken by Ernst Peterson. The piece reads, "Printers, Lithographers, Stationers / McKee Printing Company / 138 W.
