For your consideration is this mechanical iron fruit or wine press circa early 1900's. The press shows unmarked construction traditional to early 1900's machinist construction. A fruit press is a device used to separate fruit solids - stems, skins, seeds, pulp, leaves, and detritus - from fruit juice. The condition of this press is good the only part missing is the plunder used to mash and press the fruit or wine. The measurements of this metal gear press 22" x 16" x 13".
