Featured in this lot is an extremely rare, vintage Meisselbach Triton 300 yard German Silver Freespool Circa - 1918. This is perhaps Meisselbach’s toughest surf reel to find. It was only made a couple years and did not survive long after the move to Ohio. This reel is fast and extremely smooth with a great freespool. Its a big reel made for the surf and ocean. Its German silver is in fair condition and the grip and reel spin easily and freely. Overall this reel is in good condition. The reel measures 2 3/4".
