Included in this lot is an original Linda Pond enamel tile framed shadowbox-styled matted painting originating from the early 1990's. Linda Pond is an American artist known for her colorful enamel on glass paintings. This piece depicts two Navajo women, seated in a watermelon patch and eating watermelon. One womn has an orange skirt and navy blue blouse, the blouse adorned with a turquoise concho belt, turquoise concho buttons and also wears turquoise earrings and a turquoise hair stick barrette. The other woman is wearing a periwinkel blue skirt and red blouse which is also adorned with a turqouise concho belt. She also wears turquoise cabochon bracelets, necklace and earrings with a red spiny oyster hair barrette. The piece is signed "Linda Pond" in gold lettering in the bottom right corner. The piece is set into a wood frame with a canvas matte border around the art. The piece shows good condition overall, with some light wear across the frame. The frame measures 15.75"W x 19"L, with the visible art measuring 8.75"W x 11.75"L.
