Featured in this lot we have a limited edition framed print of "Men of the Madison" by Marvin Enes with the original originating from 1978. Marvin Enes (1946- 2003) was an American western artist known for his cowboy landscape pieces. The painting displays a pair of trappers and four pack horses moving across a snow covered valley. The landscape features snow covered ground, sage brush, with a forest and mountains rising in the background. The trappers are displays on horseback and covered in thick fur clothes with rifles across the back. The trappers are being followed by four pack horses with furs piles across the back. The print is signed in the bottom left hand corner "Marv Enes 1978" and signed across the bottom of the piece reading "335/1000 - Men of the Madison - Marvin Enes". The print is set into a oak frame with a grey blue border. The piece shows good condition overall with some light wear across the frame. The art measures 31" wide by 21 1/2" tall with the frame measuring 38 1/4" wide by 28 3/4" tall.
