Featured in this lot is this Mexican eagle and whirling log saltillo rug circa 1970's. The rug features a wonderfully and professionally crafted wool construction that shows a central Mexican eagle set into a red field and shows two whirling logs in black and grey coloration with stepped decoration with bands that include coloration of off white, light brown, heathered grey, light blue, dark blue, heathered dark brown, red, and black coloration. The rug shows a fringe on both edges of the rug with grey coloration. The condition of this rug is good with no obvious signs of damage and shows good overall condition. The measurements of this rug are 84" x 51". The thread count is 130 threads per square inch.
