For your consideration are two hand carved wood walking canes from the 20th century. The first is attributed to Mexico and shows intricate carvings in the shaft showing a coat of arms, a horse head, a sombrero and a bull head. It has been hand painted and shows a tiger stripe design in colors of green, black and brown. The second walking cane shows a similar style and design but shows a little more age than the first. It features carved floral designs throughout and features geometric designs of inlaid bone throughout. No makers marks or company marks are present on either cane. They show good condition overall with some wear present from their age and use over the years, but no major signs of damage is noted. The first measures 37" L x 5 1/8" W x 1 1/4" D, while the second measures 35 5/8" L x 6 5/8" W x 1 1/4" D. They have a collective weight of 2 pounds and 2 ounces.
