Featured in this lot is this obsidian knapped scrimshaw knife with a nagahide bag from Michelle Severe. The blade shows a semi translucent obsidian material and is fixed with a sinew wrapping. The handle shows a scrimshaw elk antler with a beautifully crafted scrimshaw design of an elk in a meadow. The artist’s signature is on the bottom right hand side of the handle. The knife includes a nagahide bag or carrier. The condition of this knife and leather bag is good, with no obvious signs of damage. The measurements of this knife are 11 3/4" x 1 3/4" x 1 1/2".
