Featured in this lot are two Bait & Tackle Shop advertising paper mache lures and a wood fish sign circa mid 1900s. The paper mache sculptures would have hung in a Bait & Tackle Shop advertising new lures. The first and larger one shows a red base color with black polka dots and large yellow and black eyes. The bottom of the paper mache lure shows a large metal hook while the top shows a small metal loop for easy hanging. This sculpture shows some damage and wear to the paint and a crack in the paper mache. It measures 23" L x 6 3/4" W. The second in this collection shows black and yellow colors with yellow and black eyes. The bottom shows a long hook. It shows good condition with some cracks and damage to the top of the sculpture. It measures 35 3/4" L x 3 3/4" W. The hand carved wood fish sculpture would have been hung in a Bait & Tackle shop as well. The fish shows colors of black, grey, gold and silver throughout the fish. There is a small mounting hole on one side of the fish for easy hanging. The hand carved wood fish shows good condition with wear and chips in the paint from its age and use through the years. The fish measures 8 1/2" L x 27 1/4" W.
