The rug features a fine and detailed hand woven design, bright colors, and very tight weave. The rug was handcrafted in the coastal town of Hereke, located in Turkey. The Hereke rugs are known for their detail and and high thread count. The silk displays detailed design and wonderful shine to the rug. The piece displays a wonderful tight geometric floral and animal patterns, with the border showing floral and animal designs. The piece shows a tight weave, with beautiful red color with white, tan, light blue, blue, gold, brown, and green. The rug shows good condition overall with tassels across the ends. The rug measures 45 1/2" wide by 72" long.
