Featured in this lot is this sterling and Baltic Amber pendant. Baltic amber comes from the Baltic Sea region, which includes coastal areas along Poland. It is usually harvested after it washed up on shore. The pendant features a large piece of Baltic Amber showing a translucent orange color and sterling components for connecting a necklace to the pendant. On the left side and top of the Baltic amber, the sterling shows a flower and leaf adornment. The pendant shows good condition with no signs of obvious damage present. The sterling shows a light patina from its age. The pendant measures 2 11/16" L x 1 1/8" W x 3/8" H and weighs 13.8 grams.
