Offered in this lot is a collection of 1950-1960's Americana collectibles. First in the lot is a collection of patches. There are two 3" New Old Stock "Authorized Pontiac Service” patches. These patches are red, white, and blue, with a red Indian head logo. Next are three, 3" New Old Stock "Buick Parts and Service Valve In Head". Next is a 4" New Old Stock "Chief Gasoline Washington Idaho Oregon Montana" patch. This patch is black, red, yellow, and white with a Chief in headdress logo in the center. The next item is an "ANACIN" tin that carries "Thirty Tablets". These kind of tins were what made Anacin a household name, as women and men could carry them with them to have available at all times. The tin measures 2 3/4" x 2 1/4" x 1/2". Next is a Coca-Cola advertising gift. This is a mechanical Peincel "Compliments Of The Coca-Cola Bottling Company"; the pencil is made by Dur-O-lite Pencil Co. Melrose Park Ill. The pencil comes with its original box and is in very good working condition. The last three items are specific to Montana. First is a matchbox of wooden matches from Hotel Finlen. The hotel opened in 1924. The last two items in the collection are Souvenirs of the Montana earthquake of 1959. One is a plastic bound small book of ten "Natural Color Prints"; this booklet could be mailed and measures 3 1/2" x 2 1/2". The last item is a postcard book with 14 views that foldout “in Natural Color". This item was also meant to be mailed back as a souvenir/ gift. Folded to mail, this measures 6 1/4" x 4". The items in this lot are in like-new or very good condition.
