Featured in this lot we have a Penn cast iron bakers balance scale originating from the mid 20th century. The scale shows cast iron construction with a balance scale system and metal plates. The scale comes with an adjustable sliding weight across the front of the piece. The scale is marked across the base reading "Penn Scale Phila PA". The scale shows good condition overall with some wear and chipping paint on one of the plates. The piece measures 20"long by 9" wide and 7 1/2" at its tallest.
