Featured in this lot we have a pair of metal red Tonka trucks circa the mid 1900's. Tonka Toys, originally called Mound Metalcraft, was founded in 1946 by Lynn Everett Baker in Mound, Minnesota. The first truck is a Tonka farms flat bed truck marked on its sides "Tonka Mound, Minn - Tonka Farms" and "Tonka Toy's U.S.A." on the wheels. The second truck is a Tonka step side truck marked along the side with stickers reading "Tonka Toys trade by mark - Mound Metalcraft Inc. - Mound. Minn" and "Tonka Toys" across the back. Both trucks are in good condition overall with some wear and some chipping in the paint. The farms truck measures 14" long by 6" wide and the stepside measures 12 1/2" long by 5" wide.
