Featured in this lot we have a Miller Stockman Supply Co. black cowboy hat. The company was started by Philip Miller in 1942, opening his first store in 1950. The cowboy hat comes with its original box, and originates from approximately the early 1950's to 1960's. The inside of the hat reads "Four X Quality - "leak-proof" and "Sweat-proof" - Miller Denver Colo. Fine Hats - Miller Wastern Wear Denver Colo. - Ride 'Em Cowboy - Finest Fur Felt - Styled in the West". The hat is in wonderful condition, the box is in good condition for its age. The hat box measures 17" long by 10 3/4" wide by 6 1/2" thick.
