The lot features a Mimbres Native American Indian black on white pottery bowl. The Mimbres culture was located primarily in Arizona, Texas and New Mexico with some reaching down to north Mexico and was thriving around 1000CE till 1200 CE. The piece shows a traditional geometric pattern with black pigment paint on a white base over a hand formed bowl. The bowl is not signed and shows a fine patina. The piece shows very little to no damage with no visible cracks and minimal chipping. The piece is from a large Utah Native American artifacts, pottery and weapons collection. Measures overall 8.25” in diameter and 3.5”H.
