For your consideration are these two Native American hand-woven baskets. The first basket is an Apache Burden Basket adorned with brain-tanned buckskin strips with tin cones fitted at the end of each strip. The brain-tanned buckskin covers the rim of the basket and features strips on the sides. There is also a brain-tanned buckskin loop for hanging the burden basket. It measures 8 1/2" outside circumference, 2" in height (excluding buckskin strips) and 2 3/4" diameter. The second is a smaller, tightly woven basket from a Native American tribe. It measures 1 1/2" height and 1 3/4" width at the base. Both baskets are in good condition with no obvious signs of damage. The burden basket is missing one tin cone.
