The lot collection includes six fly fishing books and the account of Timothy Treadwell, “The Grizzly Maze”. The first book in this lot is “The Classic Guide to Fly Fishing for Trout” by Charles Jardine, published by Random House (1991, Hardcover). This book is in good condition, has a dust cover, and is coffee table sized. The next two books are identical hardcover copies of “Fifty Places to Fly Fish Before You Die” by Chris Santella, with selected photographs by R. Valentine Atkinson and published by Stewart, Tabori & Chang, 2004. Both books have dust covers and are in good condition; the coloration of the covers appears different due to camera filtering. The next book is the hardcover copy of “Fishing Stories” by Nick Lyons, illustrated by Mari Lyons and published by Skyhorses Publishing in 2014. Next is the soft cover book, “Trout Bum”, by John Gierach, published by Simon & Schuster, 1986. The paperback is in good reading condition. The next paperback is “Sex, Death, and Fly-Fishing", also by John Gierach, published by Simon & Schuster in 1990. This book is in good reading condition, though the first page has been torn off. ("If Mark Twain were alive and a modern-day fly-fisherman, he still would be hard put to top John Gierach.", Sports Illustrated). The last book is the paperback, “The Grizzly Maze, Timothy Treadwell's Fatal Obsession with Alaskan Bears” by Nick Jans, published by Penguin Group, 2006. Nick Jans has been a contributing editor for Alaska Magazine. The book is in fair to good reading condition. The largest book measures 11 1/2" L x 9.25" W x .5" D; the smallest measures 8" L x 5.25" W x .75" D.
