Featured in this lot is this Mojave Indian polychrome bow, circa 1890-1900. The bow shows iconic decorative patterns up the shaft of the bow with a red ochre paint and geometric patterns painted in black ochre paint. The condition of this bow is good for its age; the bow shows a broken bow string and some of the wrapped twine is fraying, but the polychrome painted bow is in good overall condition for its age. (See pictures for reference.) The measurements of this bow are 41 1/4" x 3" x 1 1/2".
