This is a very thick volume having the transcripts of testimony before the 56th Congress of the United States--original binding, 1900; "Montana Auditor Reports-1903-1908"; "Society of Montana Pioneers"--a binding of reports from the annual conventions of the Society of Montana Pioneers (1927, 1916,1917,1924--in that order). The last four books are "Contributions to the Historical Society of Montana", Volumes, IV (1903), V (1904), 7 (1910), and X (1940). The history society books here listed contain many historical photos and written histories touching various topics in Montana history. The early Montana Civics textbook gives a glimpse of what Montana students were learning late in the 19th Century.
