For your consideration is this Helena, Montana, Bill Harvey salesman sample saddle collection. There are three salesman sample saddles in the collection. The largest is shown from Bill Harvey out of Helena, Montana; it shows a contemporary, floral tooling with the artist’s signature underneath the saddle. The second saddle shows an intricate tool and stamping to the seat and seat jockey; it has a floral design and decoration with aluminum horn and beautiful examples of tapederos and has a name marked into the seat, reading "Gordon". The smallest of the three shows a wonderful, petite salesman sample with fleece lining, “Karst Ranch” stamped in gilt into the skirt of the saddle, aluminum examples of smaller monels attached to the fenders, and an aluminum horn. The condition of these salesman samples varies, with the second saddle showing the seat jockey damaged, but the overall condition of these saddles is fair. The overall measurements of the first saddles is 6 1/2" x 6 1/4" x 4"; the second measures 8 1/2" x 7" x 5 1/2"; the last measures 4 1/2" x 4 1/2" x 3 1/2".
