The lot features a full size, large beaded cradleboard papoose with turtle umbilical cord effigy from the Blackfeet / Blackfoot of Montana from the 20th-century. The papoose / cradle board features a wood base wrapped in tanned hide with floral geometric beadwork in glass trade seed beads with a pastel and green coloring. There is a small turtle umbilical cord effigy covered in beadwork atttached to the front and the inside front is lined with coyote fur. The piece shows fringes with glass beads and turkey feathers. The back of the board is lined with trade clothe. Measures overall 34-inches long with fringes by 13.5-inches wide. TURKEY FEATHERS
