This is an original Montana Territory Knives of Bozeman, Montana knife showing an artful, Blackfeet American Indian scrimshaw artwork. The blade has been forged from 1095HC (High Carbon) steel and 15N20 Nickel Carbon, which is then heated and folded into 396 layers, creating the astounding “Damascus” steel. The knife shows a wonderful raindrop Damascus. The hollow grind full tang blade has been paired with a set of nice, white wild animal bone grips scales that are secured with two small mosaic pins and a brass lanyard loop. The tang has been artfully hand vine filled. The knife is in brand new condition and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, along with a Lifetime warranty. The blade is stamped with the outline of the state of Montana "MT" in the outline with "Bozeman MT" underneath. The knife comes with a tooled leather sheath and stamped "MT Bozeman MT" with the outline of Montana. The knife measures 10 1/8" long with the blade being 5 1/2" long. The artwork is in the likeness of a Montana Blackfoot member, but is not done by a tribal member.
